You really wanna know about us? Okay…
Deep down inside Merrideth Kalil always knew she’d work in retail. After all, she fully admits that shopping has always made her happier than almost anything else on earth. Even chocolate or puppies.
She spent much of her life walking city streets, peering into the windows of businesses she envied, trying to get a clue. Without realizing it, she began to build something in her mind. And soon she found herself actually designing and building something for real. So when she launched Seltzer Studios in November of 2009, it just sorta felt right.
These days she keeps busy with her favorite pastime-turned-business: shopping. Or as she prefers to call it, "surrounding herself with things she finds unique, interesting, functional, well-designed and inspiring." Yes, she still wanders city streets window shopping. And every time she finds an item or designer that inspires her, she adds them to her online shop so all the good people of the world (or at least the ones with internet access) can surround themselves with inspiration too.
So, yeah, that's us.
